Now now now. It's never too early to start saving money. You are going to need as much as possible in this economy. I wish I started saving when I was younger.

Quite simply as soon as possible. When you turn 18, you have to make a number of financial decisions. Believe it or not, even if you choose not to work, that choice is a financial decision because you are passing up income you could have earned. The decision to go to university, college, whether to work, how much to work, get a car, move out, etc....these are all financial decisions, and if you don't plan your finances carefully you could find yourself in buried in debt.

Right from started earning, one should make a long term Financial Planning. This should cover the requirements 1 ) For Marriage ( self ) if not married. 2) Children's education and higher education
3) Marriage of children 4) Own house / flat 5) Car one or two 6) For a happy retired life.
The long term financial planning is to be met by monthly savings, after meeting monthly regular expenses.
The long term savings may be invested in Bank deposit, Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds Real Estates etc.
