Im trying to build my credit. i have delinquent student loans that ive been paying on over the last few months. since they were delinquent, is it better for my credit to pay them in full or just continue to pay them on time each month? sorry for all the typos im on a touch screen phone.

better to pay them off fully since after it's paid your credit can start the recovery process
making payments on defaulted loans does NOT build credit

never pay off loans unless you have your savings emergency fund in place first,,, in case you lose a job
if you have a family this needs to be 5 months of income.

If it has not been charged off yet, I suggest you bring the account completely up to date then make 36 payments so it will boost your score to excellent which is 750/840. If you have the fund at that time to pay it off, do it at that time
