Default art career and going to school

I love art and always have (drawing, designs, painting) I just don't know what I want to do with it. I love drawing people too and I think I'm fairly creative I just don't have any idea what I can do or think I'd like to do. I'd like going to a university for art but that doesn't seem likely with the lack of funds saved and the courses I took. (I live in Ontario)

What art oriented jobs do you think would be good for me?
And any art colleges or colleges with great art programs I should consider.Would universities be lenient enough if I meet the majority of the requirements Or is it too unlikely?

Thanks.

It is nearly impossible to earn a living with a hobby. Art is a hobby, not a career choice. Go to school, get degree in one of the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and find a career that can support you financially.

The best you could do with an Art degree would be to teach Art to school children.

You need to realize that just because you have hobbies and interests does not mean that those hobbies have to be your career. Besides, if art becomes work, then you may lose your love for it.

Graphic Design would be a great fit for an artist, otherwise you could try tattooing, web design, auto detailing, designing signs/billboards, working for an art school, teaching children, etc.
